Job Summary

Refuel is one of the fastest growing convenience store chains in the United States, growing approximately 300% in the past 24 months through 17 acquisitions and new store builds. The company operates over 220 stores in the southeast with a total team member population of ~3,000. We are seeking a C‑Store Team Member who reports to the Store Manager.

• Provide a friendly greeting to all customers upon entering the store or on the phone.
• Use customers’ names and make them feel valued.
• Deliver fast, efficient service and suggest appropriate products.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, including restrooms, fuel islands, and merchandise displays.
• Perform inventory tasks such as stocking, shelving, and ensuring proper product placement.
• Manage cash and transactions accurately at the counter.
• Assist colleagues and customers as needed.
• Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards, including handling cleaning chemicals and using ladders when necessary.

• Must be in good physical condition; able to stand full shift and work in a 35°F cooler for up to 30 minutes.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good verbal, written, and reading comprehension in English.
• Basic math skills (eighth‑grade level).
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable; consistent attendance and proper notice for absences.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, enthusiastic demeanor.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team; multi‑task effectively.
• Training in RTO and other store protocols will be provided; completion required.
