Desert Elite Electric & Construction, Inc is looking for a driven and detail-oriented In-Office Construction Operations & Project Coordinator to join our growing team in Indio, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in keeping projects running smoothly from kickoff to completion in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities:- Coordinate day-to-day construction and electrical project operations to ensure timelines and budgets are met
- Serve as a central point of communication between field crews, project managers, subcontractors, and clients
- Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables using project management tools
- Assist with procurement, material ordering, and vendor coordination
- Prepare and manage project documentation including contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
- Monitor job site progress and report updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Support permitting, inspections, and compliance with local building and electrical codes
- 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination, operations, or a related role
- Familiarity with electrical or general construction processes and terminology
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, or electrical drawings is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
