Position OverviewDesert Champions is hiring for a Seasonal Player Services Associate who is responsible for data entry, fielding incoming calls and emails, maintaining player/sponsor/other reservations and their related requests. Must have necessary knowledge of tennis to provide information to guests.
All applicants for this position must be available to work during the 2025 BNP Paribas Open Season.
Availability- Must have availability to work Monday through Friday (8:30 am - 5:00 pm) with overtime and weekends required beginning January 5, through March 31, 2026.
- Create exceptional experience for all guests and co-workers through a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
- Field incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from players, sponsors, media, VIPs, ATP & WTA tours and any other group.
- Handle daily emails and execute reservations and changes through the reservations program and send to hotels.
- Input and send confirmations to guests.
- Reconcile arrivals and departure dates and any other changes.
- Process morning No-Shows.
- Assist in rental car program.
- Update various forms when necessary.
- Interface with Hotels and Box Office as needed.
- Support players for related services during tournament.
- Assist with various aspects of tournament operations as deemed necessary or as directed.

Qualifications Education & Experience- High School Diploma / GED.
- Must have experience in customer service and enjoy working with others.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time well.
- Maintain professionalism and decorum with all interactions.
- Maintain professional appearance by being appropriately groomed and in uniform provided.
- Ability to work as a team and support co-workers.
- Patience and commitment to customers and coworkers.
- Ability and confidence to communicate with all types of individuals.
- Must maintain all confidentiality in accordance with company policies while handling confidential information.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English. Bilingual a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as player rules and regulations, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively with vendors, customers, players, and co-workers.
- Ability to write correspondence and effectively present information.
- Must effectively present information and respond to questions asked by managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Have the aptitude to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Must pay attention to details.
- Ability to be security conscious.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Word.
- Ability to maneuver throughout the internet.
- Typing and keyboard experience is a must.

- Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk and hear.
- Frequently required to use reach with hands and arms to reach, climb and balance.

- Must have exceptional vision with or without corrective lenses and be able to read small print.
- May occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
- This position requires flexible working hours that will include nights, weekends, major holidays, and extended work hours during events or special projects.

- Frequently exposed to cold, hot, wet, or humid conditions.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
