Food Safety Quality Assurance Senior Manager

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager to lead our quality and food safety programs within a growing in‑house manufacturing facility. This role oversees all quality systems to ensure full compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. You will guide and develop a team of Quality Assurance Technicians responsible for enforcing GMPs and maintaining product quality.

Working closely with Production, Sanitation, and other cross‑functional teams, you will manage daily quality operations and drive continuous improvement.

This position is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can balance time on the manufacturing floor with the management of quality systems, documentation, and regulatory compliance while fostering a strong food safety culture across the facility.

FSQA Manager

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in FSQA supervision or management
• Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, biology, or other life sciences is desired. Other majors or associate degrees will be considered based on experience
• Knowledge and track record of successful involvement in developing SQF or other GFSI audit schemes
• Must be a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) certified or obtain PCQI certification within 60 days from the date of hire
• Sqf practitioner certification is preferred or required
