Overall Job Summary

The Team Member is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting selling initiatives and performing assigned tasks, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

As a Team Member, it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable and service-oriented, as you must be able to fulfill all of the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  Greet the Customer, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Perform duties such as operating cash register, merchandise recovery, participating in freight processing, completing merchandising procedures, assembling merchandise, performing janitorial duties, executing price changes, assisting with loading, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of birds, including sanitizing and maintaining poultry tanks.
• Complete all documentation related to these duties.

Required Qualifications

• No experience required; retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.

Working Conditions

• Mostly indoor work with moderate noise; outdoor surfaces are hard (concrete, asphalt).
• Shifts generally range from 4 to over 8 hours, varying by store needs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds, operate equipment, and perform physical tasks like standing, kneeling, and climbing.
• Ability to handle birds/poultry and complete training and certifications as required.
