Project Accountant

The Project Accountant is responsible for managing and monitoring all financial activities related to construction projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting. This role ensures accurate allocation of expenses, prepares project forecasts, and supports billing and payment processes. The Project Accountant also coordinates with site and office teams, reconciles project accounts, and ensures compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Manage and monitor project financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and review project budgets, cost reports, and financial forecasts.
• Coordinate with site and head office teams to verify invoices, payments, and supporting documents.
• Reconcile project accounts and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing for all project-related financial records.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Project Accountant (preferably in the construction industry).
• Strong understanding of project accounting principles and budgeting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
