Job Title: Construction Lead (TPC Position)

Job type: Fixed Term Contract

Job Description:

Feasibility Studies & Planning:

• Lead and oversee the execution of construction feasibility studies for new and ongoing gas production facility projects.
• Assess site conditions, regulatory requirements, and logistical challenges to provide insights into project viability and scope.

Scope of Work & Tender Documentation:

• Develop detailed scope of work (SOW) documents for construction activities, ensuring that all technical and operational requirements are clearly outlined.
• Prepare and review construction requirements for EPCI tender documents, ensuring compliance with project specifications, budget constraints, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive tender documentation.

Construction Execution:

• Lead and support the construction execution phase, ensuring that construction activities are performed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Supervise construction teams and contractors to ensure adherence to quality control, safety standards, and project timelines.
• Provide technical leadership and problem-solving expertise during construction to resolve any technical challenges or delays.

Stakeholder Management:

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure smooth integration of construction activities within the overall project timeline.
• Interface with vendors, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and requirements.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

• Ensure all construction activities comply with company HSE standards and local regulations, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
• Support the implementation of HSE programs and initiatives to minimize risks associated with construction activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in civil engineering.
• 20+ years of experience in of experience in construction management within the upstream oil and gas industry, with a focus on onshore gas production facilities or similar infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record in conducting feasibility studies, creating scopes of work, and preparing EPCI tender documents.
• Extensive hands-on experience in the execution of large-scale construction projects, particularly in the upstream oil and gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction management processes, project scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance.
• Excellent understanding of HSE standards and regulations, with experience in promoting safety culture on-site.
