Business Studies Teacher (IGCSE/A Level)

Jakarta Multicultural School is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to teach IGCSE and A Level students in a dynamic multicultural learning environment. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop critical thinking, analytical, and entrepreneurial skills while fostering academic excellence and global perspectives in business education.

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Business Studies curriculum
• Prepare students for internal and external assessments, examinations, and coursework requirements
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and inquiry-based classroom environment that encourages active participation and independent learning
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students
• Assess, monitor, and report student progress regularly and accurately
• Provide constructive feedback and academic support to help students achieve their full potential
• Integrate real-world business concepts, case studies, and current global economic trends into teaching and learning activities
• Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership to support curriculum development and school initiatives
• Maintain positive communication and partnerships with parents and guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing
• Participate actively in school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities as required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Economics, or a related field
• Teaching qualification/certification is preferred
• Relevant experience teaching Business Studies at the IGCSE and/or A Level stage
• Strong understanding of the Cambridge curriculum and assessment standards
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Commitment to student-centered learning and continuous professional growth
• Experience in an international school environment is an advantage
