Social Studies & CME Teacher (Junior & Senior High School)

We are looking for a passionate, empathetic, and bilingual educator to join our team as a Social Studies & CME (Civics and Moral Education) Teacher for our Junior and Senior High School levels. In this role, you will teach both Sociology and Civics, transforming theoretical concepts into engaging, real‑world applications. The ideal candidate is not just a subject‑matter expert, but a dedicated facilitator who can guide students through discussions on life values, ethics, and social empathy in a highly inclusive setting.

• Deliver highly engaging, bilingual (English and Indonesian) lessons in Sociology and Civics & Moral Education for Junior and Senior High School students.
• Design and implement experiential learning activities, such as community service projects and field observations, allowing students to apply classroom theories to real‑life social dynamics.
• Act as a supportive and warm coach during class discussions, helping students navigate complex topics regarding ethics, morality, and social empathy.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that actively accommodates diverse learning styles and supports the emotional well‑being of all students.
• Assess student progress through continuous observation, holistic evaluation, and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and school leadership to integrate character development initiatives into daily school activities.

• Education:
  
  Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Civics Education (PKn), Sociology, Social Sciences, or a closely related field.
• Language:
  Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Bilingual class delivery is mandatory.
• Experience:
  
  Proven teaching experience at the Junior and/or Senior High School levels is preferred.
• Methodology:
  Strong grasp of student‑centered and experiential teaching methodologies.
• Character:
  High empathy, patience, strong emotional intelligence, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.
• Skills:
  
  Excellent communication, classroom management, and problem‑solving skills.
