Location: North Kuta

The Shadow Teacher for Special Educational Needs (SEN) students plays a crucial role in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students, regardless of their abilities, can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Their purpose is to provide individualized and group support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring equal access to quality education in alignment with the school's mission and international standards.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in any related program
  • Experience working with children with special needs and/or disabilities
  • Demonstrates adequate ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Shows competence and capacity to work independently and manage their student.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support to a student with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to students with disabilities, behavioral challenges, or English language learners.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Assist the allocated student in accessing the curriculum, participating in class activities, and completing assignments.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social and emotional growth of each student.
  • Monitor and record student progress, behaviors, and achievements.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and progress.
  • Provide regular progress reports to parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's learning journey.
  • Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities as require
