Field Service Engineer

Our client is a global company that specializes in technology and solutions for poultry hatcheries. Their core focus is on helping poultry producers hatch eggs reliably, efficiently, and ir biggest clients in Indonesia include two of Indonesia's largest agrifood companies in the animal feed & poultry sector.

They are hiring for a Field Service Engineer on an independent contractor basis to lead the on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of their incubators at customer sites, for example at JAPFA Comfeed and Malindo hatcheries across Indonesia.

This role is fully remote but will require frequent travel to their client sites around Indonesia.

The role is highly hands-on and field-focused, suited for engineers with strong electrical or mechanical troubleshooting experience who are comfortable working independently on site. Industry background is flexible, as long as you have solid exposure to commissioning, maintenance and fault diagnosis in industrial environments.

This is a long-term contractor engagement with flexible assignment and clear non-competing boundaries. Many of their long-term engineers in Indonesia and worldwide today maintain their primary jobs or projects.

• Lead on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of incubators at customer sites across Indonesia.
• Manage on-site activities independently and coordinate with clients (e.g., JAPFA Comfeed, Malindo hatcheries).
• Travel to client sites as required to support installation, maintenance, and fault diagnosis.

• Strong electrical or mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with commissioning, maintenance, and fault diagnosis in industrial environments.
• Ability to work independently on site as an independent contractor.
• Willingness to travel frequently; comfortable working in field conditions; long-term engagement with flexible assignment and adherence to non-compete boundaries.
