Responsibilities
- Attribute Performance Review:
Evaluate vehicle-level attribute performance (ride, handling, NVH, thermal, accommodation, ergonomics, durability, etc.) for India-built vehicles. - Gap Reporting:
Identify and report any deviations from defined attribute targets or acceptable performance levels, and escalade to attribute leads. - Measurement Tools Management:
Use and maintain tools, equipment, and rigs used for attribute measurements. - Benchmarking & Market Research:
Support in-country benchmarking of competitor vehicles and capture customer preferences and usage trends in India. - Media Review Analysis:
Track and analyze media reviews of Vin Fast products vs competitors; synthesize insights for attribute and product improvement. - Audit Reporting:
Release regular vehicle audit reports summarizing attribute performance against benchmarks and internal targets. - Test & Validation Support:
Plan and conduct in-country tests (road, climatic, endurance) aligned with Vin Fast’s global validation protocols. - Homologation Witnessing:
Support and witness local homologation and regulatory tests; ensure attribute performance is consistent under Indian homologation conditions.
To provide regularly updates on the information about the competitors in India market, covering in detail the scope of all relevant vehicle attributes.
Education and Professional Knowledge- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 8 + years in complete vehicle testing, attribute quality, or benchmarking, with exposure to multiple attribute domains.
- Solid background for the detailed vehicle assessment for Ergonomics, Fit and finish, Braking, Vehicle Dynamics, thermal performance.
- Proven experience in vehicle quality audits, attribute evaluation, and test coordination.
- Hands‑on expertise with benchmarking studies and market/customer analysis in India.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
- Willingness to travel across India (>20% of the time).
- Strong driving skills and safety awareness.
