This role is pivotal in driving financial transformation and operational excellence across the market. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee all the financial activities for one of the top 15 global markets - Indonesia. As the CFO of WPP Media Indonesia, you will manage and develop the financial and commercial product to ensure delivery of the best-in-class financial reporting, cost management and commercial growth in the Indonesia operations.

Reports to: Regional CFO of WPP Media Asia Pacific and CEO of WPP Media Indonesia

• Within 3 Months:
  Develop a foundational understanding of WPP Media's local business, financial structures, systems, and key stakeholder relationships.
• Within 6 Months:
  Initiate key financial transformation initiatives. Provide strategic financial insights, drive profitability and efficiency improvements, and begin optimizing the Finance team structure.
• Within 12 Months:
  Lead to significant financial and operational transformation, positioning the business for sustained growth. Lead commercial negotiations, deliver tangible cost savings and workflow efficiencies, and ensure robust financial reporting and WPP policy compliance.

• Commercial Management:
  Advise client leaders on key financial levers to achieve their PBT targets, including terms of business–client contract negotiation and payment terms negotiation.
• Overall Business Growth Strategy:
  Work with WPP Media Indonesia CEO to develop the annual growth strategy for the group and build a 3-year growth roadmap.
• Financial & Treasury Management:
  Collaborate with the CEO and Regional CFO to optimize cashflow and working capital management.
• Corporate Governance:
  Responsible for governance frameworks including SOX, Trading, Audit, and Tax compliance in line with WPP/WPP Media policies.
• Operational Efficiency:
  Review finance structure and capabilities; ensure systems and processes support timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Mergers & Acquisitions and Partnerships:
  Identify potential acquisition targets, manage the acquisition process, and integrate the business into WPP Media.

• Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) and 15+ years of senior financial and administrative experience, ideally in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
• Experience from Big 4 with significant exposure to audit; proven track record in process improvement and financial system implementations.
• Excellent technical skills and up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards, tax requirements and corporate governance in Indonesia.
• Understanding of digital marketing pillars and their impact on organizational structure and client businesses; ability to leverage technology for financial insights and efficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate complex financial data into actionable strategic recommendations.
• Effective written, verbal and listening communication; a strong communicator and influencer capable of driving change across diverse teams.
• Negotiation and M&A experience; due diligence and valuations; post-merger integration is valued.
• Demonstrated leadership in building and transforming finance teams; strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
