We are establishing a new fintech business unit to capitalize on the rapidly evolving financial technology landscape and drive innovation across various financial services. This is a unique opportunity to lead a transformative initiative and build a market-leading fintech business from the ground up.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our new Fintech Business Unit. The CEO will be responsible for the overall strategy, execution, and growth of the business, with a mandate to establish a broad fintech presence encompassing a wide variety of financial technology solutions. This includes identifying new opportunities, building and leading a high-performing team, securing necessary funding and partnerships, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the fintech industry, with deep expertise in developing and scaling innovative financial solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and articulate a compelling vision and strategy for the Fintech Business Unit, aligning with the company's overall objectives. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across the fintech landscape, including but not limited to:
  • Digital lending and financing solutions
  • Payment processing and infrastructure
  • Digital banking and wealth management platforms
  • Insurance technology (Insurtech) solutions
  • Blockchain and cryptocurrency applications
  • Other innovative fintech solutions
• Business Development: Drive the establishment of new business lines and oversee the entire lifecycle of new product development, from concept to launch and scaling.
• Team Building: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-caliber management team with expertise across various fintech domains. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and performance.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of the business unit's operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and a superior customer experience. Implement best-in-class processes and technologies to drive operational excellence.
• Financial Management: Develop and manage the business unit's budget, ensuring financial sustainability and delivering attractive returns on investment. Secure funding from internal and external sources as needed.
• Partnership Development: Forge strategic partnerships with financial institutions, technology providers, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders to accelerate growth and expand market reach.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the business unit operates in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Stay abreast of evolving regulatory landscape and proactively address any compliance challenges.
• Stakeholder Management: Represent the business unit to senior management, investors, and the broader fintech community. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the fintech industry, with a proven track record of success in senior leadership roles.
• Deep understanding of the Indonesian fintech market and regulatory landscape.
• Extensive experience in building and scaling fintech businesses, with a focus on driving growth and profitability.
• Strong expertise in a variety of fintech areas, with a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on emerging trends.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets, securing funding, and delivering returns on investment.
• Proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
• Excellent network within the fintech industry.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
