Assistant Finance and Accounting Manager
Key Job Responsibilities – Assistant Manager Finance & Accounting
Assist the Finance & Accounting Manager in overseeing daily financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and compliance activities.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor and control accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash flow activities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in alignment with company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and relevant authorities during audits and statutory reporting.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Supervise and support junior finance and accounting staff, including task allocation and performance monitoring.
- Assist in improving financial systems, internal controls, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for operational and financial efficiency.
- Support management in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
- Managing the accounting function in processing financial data and information to produce financial reports that the company needs accurately and on time.
- Coordinate and control the planning, reporting, and payment of corporate tax obligations so that they are efficient, accurate, timely, and following applicable government regulations.
- Planning, coordinating, and controlling the company's cash flow (cash flow), especially the management of accounts receivable and payable, thereby ensuring the availability of funds for the company's operations and financial health.
- Support the preparation of company budgets, and control the use of these budgets to ensure effective and efficient use of funds in supporting company operations.
- Planning and coordinating the development of financial and accounting systems and procedures, as well as controlling their implementation to ensure that all financial processes and transactions run in an orderly manner, and reduce financial risks.
- Coordinate and carry out financial planning and analysis to be able to provide input from the financial side for company leaders in making business decisions.
- Plan and consolidate company-wide taxation to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with tax regulations.
- Reconciled all the groups Balance Sheets as well as P&L reports.
- Planning, Training, and appraise Finance & Accounting team members.
