Location: TualangSpecialist, Fire Brigade Job Requirements
Must hold a valid AK3 Umum certification issued by the authorized Indonesian institution and have a strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS/K3) regulations, particularly those related to fire prevention, fire protection, and emergency response in industrial environments.Must possess a recognized Fire Fighting / Fire Safety / Fire Prevention Expert certification, with comprehensive knowledge of firefighting techniques, fire risk assessment, emergency preparedness, and fire incident management in large-scale industrial facilities.Demonstrated strong technical knowledge and hands‑on experience in the operation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems, including but not limited to:- Fire pumps (diesel, electric, jockey pump)
- Hydrant and hose reel systems
- Automatic and manual sprinkler systems
- Fire alarm and detection systems
- Portable fire extinguishers (APAR)
- Other fire emergency and suppression systems
Minimum 5 years of working experience in the fire safety / fire protection / firefighting field, preferably within pulp, paper, tissue, or other heavy industrial manufacturing environments, with proven exposure to high fire‑risk operations and materials.Experienced in industrial fire brigade operations, including emergency response coordination, firefighting drills, rescue operations, evacuation procedures, and post‑incident investigation and reporting.Able to conduct fire risk assessments, identify potential fire hazards, and recommend effective preventive and corrective actions in compliance with company standards, Indonesian regulations, and international best practices.Capable of preparing, implementing, and maintaining fire emergency response procedures, fire prevention programs, and fire safety policies in alignment with company HSE standards.Experienced in conducting fire safety training, simulations, and drills for employees and contractors to ensure readiness and compliance with emergency response requirements.Familiar with audit processes, inspections, and coordination with external parties such as government authorities, fire departments, insurance auditors, and third‑party inspectors related to fire safety compliance.Strong communication and coordination skills, able to work closely with HSE teams, operations, maintenance, engineering, and management to ensure effective fire prevention and emergency preparedness across all plant areas.Physically fit and mentally prepared to handle emergency situations, with the ability to work under pressure and respond promptly to fire and emergency incidents.This recruitment process is free of charge.
