Nail Technician

• Perform high-quality nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel polish, acrylics, gel extensions, nail art, and nail repairs for BFriends customers.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized nail station in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Consult with customers to understand their preferences, nail health concerns, and desired outcomes before each service.
• Provide professional recommendations on nail shapes, colors, designs, and aftercare based on customers lifestyle and preferences.
• Stay updated on current nail trends, techniques, colors, and seasonal designs to offer fresh and creative options.
• Manage nail service inventory including polishes, gels, acrylic powders, tools, and disposables; report low stock to Purchasing team.
• Sterilize and sanitize all reusable tools (cuticle pushers, nippers, files, buffers) after each customers following hygiene protocols.
• Build long-term customers relationships to encourage repeat bookings, loyalty, and referrals to other BFriends units (Spa, Beauty, Fitness, Cafe, Yoga and Barre).
• Upsell additional services such as nail art, nail treatments, hand/foot masks, and express touch-ups.
• Participate in BFriends cross-promotional events (e.g., bridal packages, holiday specials) with other services.

• Certified Nail Technician (diploma or certificate from a recognized beauty school or local equivalent) with 2 years of professional salon, spa, or studio experience
• Able to demonstrated proficiency in gel polish, acrylics, dip powder, nail art, and current trends (e.g., minimalist designs, 3D embellishments)
• Knowledge of eco-friendly/non-toxic products is a plus
• Strong communication, patience, and a friendly demeanor to deliver a relaxing client experience
• Strict adherence to sanitation protocols (tool cleaning, workstation disinfection) and health regulations
• Portfolio showing 10-15 photos of varied nail art designs and techniques
• Fluency in local language plus basic English for customer communication
• Up-to-date tetanus vaccination (or willingness to obtain).

• Advanced certifications in nail art, gel extensions, acrylic sculpting, or Japanese gel techniques
• Experience working in a luxury spa, wellness center, or multi-service beauty studio
• Training in hand and foot massage (reflexology, aromatherapy)
• Knowledge of vegan, cruelty-free, or organic nail product lines
• Experience with social media content creation (nail photography, Reels, tutorials)
• Certification in eyelash extensions, brow shaping, or basic facial treatments (for cross-training potential)
• Bilingual ability (English + local language)
• First aid / CPR certification
