IT Business Analyst

Overview

Business analysts are responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business users using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. Business analysts engage with business leaders and users to understand business needs and should support quality assurance processes by ensuring that solutions meet business requirements.

• Bridge the gap between IT and business users using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders.
• Engage with business leaders and users to understand business needs and requirements.
• Support quality assurance processes by ensuring that solutions meet business requirements.

• Analytical Thinking - Ability to analyze business problems and translate them into technical requirements
• Requirement gathering, root cause analysis, and process mapping
• Documentation & Modeling - Skilled in preparing documentation such as: BRD, FSD/FRD (Functional Specification Document), UML, Flowcharts
• Stakeholder Communication - Able to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams (developers, QA, UI/UX)
• Tools & Technology - Familiar with tools such as:
  Jira / Trello / API postman
• Agile/Scrum Understanding - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience 3-5 years in similar role (IT business analyst, Product owner, project management)
