The Cluster IT Manager is responsible for overseeing all information technology operations across multiple Hyatt properties:
Alila Seminyak and Kleo Seminyak JdV by Hyatt. This key leadership role will develop and implement the IT strategy for both properties, ensuring the delivery of reliable, secure, and innovative technology solutions that support business objectives. The role involves providing strategic direction and hands‑on leadership to the IT teams, ensuring alignment with overall hotel operations and guest service standards. The Cluster IT Manager will focus on optimizing IT infrastructure, managing technology projects, and ensuring cybersecurity protocols are maintained, all while supporting a seamless guest experience and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate is a results‑oriented leader with a passion for technology, proven expertise in managing IT systems within a hospitality environment, and the ability to inspire and lead high‑performing teams across multiple properties.

KEY

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the development and implementation of an integrated IT strategy that supports hotel operations, guest experience, and business growth.
  • Oversee the management of network infrastructure, hardware, software, and cybersecurity measures across all properties in the cluster.
  • Collaborate with hotel management to identify technology needs and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all IT systems are secure, compliant with industry standards, and regularly maintained to minimize downtime.
  • Manage information security risks and ensure hotel‑wide information security at all levels, including access control, policies, compliance, and prevention measures.
  • Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics, ensuring cost‑effective technology investments.
  • Oversee the deployment of new technology initiatives, including property management systems, point‑of‑sale systems, and guest‑facing technologies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the IT teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans related to IT infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal delivery of IT services and support.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for IT‑related communication with hotel leadership, staff, and external partners.
  • Conduct regular training and development sessions for staff to maximize the effective use of technology solutions.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in the hospitality industry to recommend strategic enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and security policies to protect guest and company information.
  • Support the integration of IT systems with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and data sharing.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role is an expatriate with the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated leadership and effective communication skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing IT operations within 5-star luxury hotels or resorts (preferably with Hyatt background).
  • Strong ability to develop and execute IT strategies that support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Comprehensive understanding of hospitality IT systems, cybersecurity, and network management.
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing high‑performing IT teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative abilities.
