Position Summary

We are looking for a Service Operations Supervisor to join our Service Operations team in Jakarta.

The Service Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end service operations of the Jakarta office – including managing the workshop and field service activities, coordinating engineers and technicians, ensuring compliance to all QHSE standards, and driving high customer satisfaction. The role plays a critical part in ensuring optimal manpower utilisation, structured service delivery, and strong customer partnerships.

What you will be doing: QHSE, Integrity & Compliance
  • Ensure all activities comply with Company and Corporate Policies, Code of Conduct, ISO standards, Quality Management System, Compliance and HSE requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Promote continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and compliant working areas in line with required standards.
Service Operations Management
  • Organise and manage field service and workshop operations to meet business objectives and exceed customer expectations.
  • Lead the Service & Support Team in developing service pipelines and managing overall revenue for the Rolls‑Royce market.
  • Review job schedules to ensure all service jobs are executed on time and delivered according to plan.
  • Assess, monitor, and ensure adequate manpower availability with high utilisation.
Technical & Workshop Supervision
  • Ensure dismantling, inspection, repair, and assembly of RR engines are performed using correct procedures in accordance with Rolls‑Royce manufacturing standards.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment, including special tools, are properly maintained, safe, and available for use.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and ensure appropriate follow‑up actions.
Team Leadership & Capability Development
  • Supervise technicians and service engineers in their daily workshop and field activities.
  • Lead competency planning and training needs analysis for RRS Indonesia personnel.
  • Drive knowledge transfer programs, particularly from Expatriate Advisors to local engineers and technicians.
Customer Relationship & Cross‑Functional Coordination
  • Maintain strong communication and relationships with customers to achieve high levels of satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Heads of Departments to develop opportunity budgets and business cases, supporting business growth.
  • Liaise with RRS Indonesia headquarters and branches regarding product support, logistics, accounting, HR, and administrative matters.
Reporting & Administration
  • Ensure all technical reports and required documentation are completed accurately and submitted on time.
  • Execute any ad‑hoc duties assigned by management.
Position requirements:
Essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Strong experience in service operations, workshop supervision, and field service execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technicians and service engineers.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of engine systems (preferably Rolls‑Royce or similar heavy industrial engines).
  • Strong commitment to QHSE standards and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
Preferred
  • Experience in power systems, industrial engines, or marine/energy sectors.
  • Exposure to budget planning, service pipeline development, and utilisation forecasting.
