Manufacturing Manager

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, cost efficiency, and safety requirements are achieved. This role leads the production team, improves operational performance, and ensures compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

Manage and monitor daily production activities to meet output, quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Lead and develop production supervisors and operators.

Ensure implementation and compliance with SOP, safety standards, and quality systems.

Analyze production performance, downtime, and efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams.

Manage manpower planning, shift scheduling, and productivity.

Support audits and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

Prepare production reports and provide recommendations to management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).

Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong understanding of production planning, process improvement, and manufacturing KPIs.

Experience in implementing continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, or similar).

Good knowledge of quality systems and workplace safety standards.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and handle multiple priorities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic production reporting tools.
