Location: Cikande
Our client is a Manufacturing (Rubber Machinery) Company. Currently, they are looking for Production Engineer SPV.
Job Responsibilities- Design and optimize production processes:
Analyze and improve the entire manufacturing flow from mixing to vulcanizing, thoroughly eliminating waste of time and resources. - Manage and control manufacturing equipment:
Operate and develop maintenance plans for major machinery such as Banbury mixers, open mills, calendars, and forming machines. - Manage quality and processes:
Properly set and control critical parameters (temperature, pressure, heating time) in the vulcanization process to prevent defects such as scorch and porosity. - Evaluate tools and molds:
Conduct basic design and evaluation of molds and jigs & fixtures to improve product assembly efficiency. - Data analysis and improvement:
Monitor and report KPIs such as yield, reject rate, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), implementing improvements based on lean production methods (conducting root cause analysis: RCA). - Promote safety, health, and standardization:
Standardize based on quality standards such as ISO 9001, and ensure compliance with safety protocols (K3) in workplaces handling high-temperature machinery and hazardous chemicals. - On-site education and interdepartmental collaboration:
Instruct operators on standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain close collaboration with maintenance and R&D departments (transitioning new formulations to mass production). - Other related tasks as assigned.
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's (S1) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- More than 3 years of experience as a Production Engineer in the rubber manufacturing industry is mandatory.
- At least 1 year of experience in a senior or supervisory role.
- Knowledge of rubber manufacturing machinery (mixers, forming machines, etc.), including equipment structure, operation, and vulcanization (curing) process control.
- Understanding of improvement methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of quality and safety standards, including ISO 9001 and occupational safety and health (K3) protocols in manufacturing environments.
