Role Description The Junior Baker is a full-time, on-site role based in Pondok Aren. This role involves assisting in daily baking activities, including preparing ingredients, mixing batters and doughs, and baking cakes and other products according to recipes and quality standards. The Junior Baker helps with decorating and packaging baked goods, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and ensuring proper storage and labeling of ingredients.

The position also includes supporting inventory checks, following food safety guidelines, and collaborating with the baking team to meet production schedules and customer orders.

Qualifications

• Basic baking knowledge and hands‑on experience with mixing, baking, and decorating cakes or pastries.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on product consistency, quality, and presentation.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures accurately.
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment safely.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills, with a positive and reliable work attitude.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and develop new baking techniques.
• Previous experience in a bakery, pastry shop, or food production environment is an advantage.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
