Job Purpose

  • Lead influencer marketing & community strategy, integration with brand plans and agency management.
  • Cultivate and manage critical 1:1 endorsement relationships with key influencers
  • Responsible for being the "live" voice and ears of the skincare brand across social communities.
  • Be in conversations and engagement (online/offline) with audiences and manage owned channels and brand social presence, acting as the primary point of contact for the brand fans & derms community.
Responsibilities
  • Influencers & Creators Management
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive influencer & community marketing strategy aligned with the brand's overall marketing objectives, target audience, and budget. Includes events, trips, as needed.
  • Keep strong pulse & be the forefront on influencer, creator & community trends, formats, platform changes, and cultural moments relevant to beauty/skincare/derms expert. Possessing a strong understanding of the landscape & key players.
  • Identify, vet, and onboard a diverse roster of influencers who align with the brand's values, aesthetic, and target audience, cultivating strong, long-term relationships – both at the campaign level and always on.
  • Proactively engage with relevant communities & create interactive community activities.
  • Manage the influencer & community briefing process, ensuring clear communication of campaign objectives, brand guidelines, content expectations, legal requirements and measurement frameworks – with a keen sense of what works in the space and how to be authentic, and how to collaborate with demand squad to ensure content is fit for the right channel/platform.
  • Understanding of paid media models and how to drive engaged reach at scale.
  • Ability to collaborate with other demand squad members to orchestrate earned, owned and paid content to drive impact.
  • Collaborate closely with the chosen influencer marketing agency, providing strategic direction, overseeing campaign execution, and ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts for Key Influencers, usage rights, compensation, and ensure compliance with local advertising regulations.
  • Analyze influencer content performance, ROI, and insights to inform future strategy.
Experience What you need to succeed
  • Influencer Marketing: Proven experience specifically in influencer marketing, ideally within the beauty or lifestyle industry. This experience should include a strong understanding of influencer ecosystems, commercial models, and relationship management.
  • Community Management: Proven experience directly managing online & offline communities, ideally for brands or in the beauty industry. This could include:
    • Growing and engaging brand fans audience.
    • Creating and executing community engagement strategies
    • Moderating online discussions and managing conflicts
    • Tracking and analyzing community metrics
  • Campaign Management:
    Proven ability to plan, execute and manage influencer marketing campaigns from start to finish, including budget management and timeline adherence.
  • Relationship Building:
    Experience in building and nurturing strong relationships and long-term with influencers, agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Agency Management:
    Experience collaborating with and overseeing external influencer marketing agencies, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
  • Contract Negotiation:
    Familiarity with negotiating influencer contracts, usage rights, and campaign deliverables.
  • Data Analysis:
    Proficiency in using influencer marketing platforms and analytics tools to track campaign performance, measure ROI, and generate actionable insights to inform future strategies.
