Responsibilities
  • Collect data from communities on a routine basis and build a community-based monitoring and evaluation system.
  • Support Program teams in developing vision and transformative services focusing on children and planning them.
  • Assist the MEAL Coordinator in formulating joint program development plans with communities according to grant design.
  • Use available resources efficiently and effectively for resource acquisition and project management.
  • Help build capacity of partner operating models, cadres, and communities in monitoring and evaluation through technical support.
  • Provide technical assistance to partners, cadres and communities to strengthen community-based monitoring.
  • Share best practices and challenges in strengthening project monitoring through coordination meetings, joint training, seminars, and other activities.
  • Build and update program database usable by the entire AP team.
  • Coordinate with the MEALC and other coordinators in implementation of monitoring and evaluation.
  • Document project materials, including reports and lessons learned for future planning.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and field support.
  • Contribute to baseline, monitoring and evaluation surveys and participative learning with communities.
  • Support internal learning, document learning outcomes, and report monitoring data from communities to MEALC and Program Manager.
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual AP reporting.
  • Build partnerships with organizations and institutions at village level, provide accurate organizational identity and understand local political context.
  • Develop and manage annual performance agreements aligned with targets.
  • Report program achievements and monitoring reports to supervisors.
  • Foster a positive team spirit, maintain ethical conduct and healthy relations.
  • Practice Christian values and support spiritual life of organization.
  • Manage program risks, including fraud, safeguarding and other risks, according to policy.
  • Respond to and update Complaint Feedback Response System (CFRS) and feedback tracker.
  • Travel regularly to intervention areas, including remote regions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Public Health, International Development or related field.
  • Preferably has certification or training in Monitoring & Evaluation (e.g., M&E Toolkit, SPHERE).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) or at least 1 year as a community-based data empowerment facilitator.
  • Experience with Results-Based Management approach and program success measurement tools.
  • Fluency in Indonesian; passive proficiency in English preferred.
  • Ability to work in multicultural and inclusive environment and sensitivity to Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI).
  • Flexibility to work on site and digitally, including in areas with limited internet.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to program intervention areas, including remote areas.
