Responsibilities
- Carrying out nursing care for all inpatients under the nurse’s responsibility, providing services in accordance with the hospital’s vision, mission, philosophy, and the nursing division’s goals and implementing nursing service quality policies and room work targets.
- Performing morning, afternoon, and evening duties in rotation according to the service roster created by the Head Nurse and delivering independent nursing interventions based on the nurse’s competencies and qualifications.
- Actively participating in the implementation of hospital quality improvement and patient safety programs, as well as quality improvement initiatives in assigned rooms.
- Preparing facilities for the smooth running of nursing services by arranging room safety and comfort, ensuring all equipment and medications are functional and available, and supporting cleanliness and tidiness of the work environment.
- Executing nursing actions in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures, within the limits of the nurse’s ability and competence.
- Providing nursing care to clients at all levels of maternity and midwifery services by: conducting assessments at admission and continuously during care, determining nursing problems through assessment analysis, implementing goals and objectives to address these problems, carrying out therapeutic nursing actions based on procedural policies, monitoring the patient’s health condition, offering health education to patients/families, and evaluating the effectiveness of the nursing actions or therapies given.
- Maintaining the medical recording and reporting system: receiving, checking completeness of medical records, preparing patients for treatment, maintaining accurate nursing care records, reading reports to determine patient conditions, developing action plans and diagnostic examinations, planning interventions for incoming and discharged patients, and handing over patients to the next shift nurse.
- Providing patient‑centered communication: displaying a polite and therapeutic attitude toward internal and external customers, introducing oneself and informing patients and families of the substitute nurse for each shift, and offering orientation and room rules for every new patient.
- Diploma (D3) Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum 6 months of clinical experience in the inpatient area.
