Market Research Assistant Manager – Product Innovation & Consumer Insights

We are seeking a Market Research Assistant Manager to support product innovation through structured research, feasibility studies, and deep consumer insights. This role focuses on understanding user behavior, motivations, and decision drivers to inform early-stage product and business decisions.

• Conduct market research to support product innovation and feasibility studies
• Lead Voice of Customer (VoC) initiatives including interviews, surveys, focus groups, and field research
• Identify and analyze BUMO (Behavior, Usage, Motivation, Opportunity) and consumer preferences
• Translate user insights into opportunity areas, problem statements, and product hypotheses
• Perform market sizing, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking
• Collaborate with Product, Strategy, and Operations teams to support decision-making
• Synthesize findings into clear insight reports and executive-ready presentations
• Monitor evolving consumer behavior and emerging market signals

• 3-6+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or product research
• Strong experience in product innovation research and feasibility assessment
• Hands‑on expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
• Proven ability to uncover behavioral insights, motivations, and preference drivers
• Strong storytelling, synthesis, and stakeholder communication skills
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments

• Experience supporting tech‑enabled or physical product development
• Familiarity with frameworks such as JTBD, design thinking, ethnographic research
• Experience translating research into product or business strategy inputs
