Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and service oriented Restaurant Server to join our team at Cucina, one of the signature dining outlets at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort.

As a Restaurant Server at Cucina, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences through attentive service, in depth product knowledge, and warm hospitality in a vibrant Italian inspired dining atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor
  • Present menus and provide detailed explanations of dishes, beverages, and daily specials
  • Offer recommendations and upsell signature dishes and beverages
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system
  • Serve food and beverages according to established service standards
  • Ensure tables are properly set and maintained throughout service
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and courteously
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and timely service
  • Process bills and handle payments accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
  • Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel or upscale restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage)
  • Well groomed with professional appearance
  • Customer focused with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong teamwork and coordination skills
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Positive attitude, energetic personality, and passion for hospitality
