Food & Beverage Team Leader

Utopia Concept Bali is looking for a warm, experienced, and service-minded Food & Beverage Team Leader to join our boutique hospitality team.

We are seeking someone who combines genuine hospitality with strong operational skills and can confidently lead a small F&B team while remaining actively involved in daily service.

As our Food & Beverage Team Leader, you will:

• Lead and support the F&B team during daily operations and service
• Ensure consistently warm, professional, and attentive guest service
• Coordinate breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar, and beverage service
• Welcome guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and remain hands-on during busy periods
• Prepare and supervise quality coffee, barista-style beverages, cocktails, mocktails, and simple bar drinks
• Maintain service standards, presentation, cleanliness, and organization across restaurant and bar areas
• Brief the team and help organize daily tasks and responsibilities
• Train and coach team members on service, menu knowledge, drinks, and guest interaction
• Monitor stock levels, bar supplies, and basic inventory control
• Help minimize waste and ensure proper handling of F&B products
• Communicate closely with the kitchen, front office, housekeeping, and management
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and small service issues calmly and professionally
• Encourage natural and elegant upselling of food, drinks, and guest experiences
• Help ensure that Utopia’s service standards are followed consistently every day

We are especially looking for someone with strong experience in:

• Leading or supervising a restaurant, bar, café, hotel, or villa F&B team
• Barista work and coffee preparation
• Cocktail and mocktail preparation
• Restaurant and table service
• Bar setup, stock control, and cleanliness
• Training and supporting junior team members
• Guest interaction and service recovery
• Upselling in a natural, guest-focused way
• Maintaining high service standards in a boutique hospitality environment

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage, ideally with Team Leader, Captain, Supervisor, or similar responsibilities
• Good English communication skills
• Confident leadership with a warm and respectful approach
• Strong attention to detail and service standards
• Able to organize a small team and remain calm during busy periods
• Hands-on attitude and willingness to work alongside the team
• Honest, reliable, responsible, and well-presented
• Able to multitask and solve day-to-day operational issues independently
• Positive attitude and good communication with other departments
