Chef - Private Villa

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated Private Villa Chef to join our team at a private villa in Lombok. This role is ideal for someone who is not only an excellent cook, but also has charisma, personality, creativity, and a strong understanding of private villa hospitality. We want our guests to remember not only the food, but also the experience.

Key responsibilities

Prepare high-quality breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and special meals according to guest requirements

Create customized menus based on guests' preferences, dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests

Prepare healthy, fresh and well-balanced meals, while also being comfortable preparing international and Indonesian cuisine

Ensure every dish has an attractive, professional and elegant presentation

Communicate confidently and professionally with international guests

Plan menus and organize grocery shopping and ingredient requirements

Maintain a clean Kitchen and kitchen accessories

Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, food safety and kitchen organisation

Control food quality, freshness, portions, stock and wastage

Coordinate closely with villa management, housekeeping and service staff

About you

Excellent/fluent English – strong communication with international guests is essential

Proven experience working as a Chef in a private villa, luxury villa, private household or similar high-end hospitality environment

Strong knowledge of healthy cooking and nutrition-conscious meals

Experience with international cuisine

Excellent food plating and presentation skills

Shopping Smart, quick and ecumenical

Professional, clean and well-groomed appearance

Friendly, positive and confident personality

Charismatic and comfortable interacting with guests

Highly motivated, proactive and solution-oriented

Able to understand guest preferences and adapt quickly
