Head Chef Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including preparation, storage and hygiene.
- Supervise the kitchen team to ensure smooth food production.
- Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team to achieve high standards.
- Create kitchen team work schedules and ensure efficient workflow.
- Ensure all dishes comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure kitchen equipment is functioning properly.
- COGS and Inventory Management
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Head Chef or similar position, preferably in a restaurant with international concept.
- In-depth understanding of food presentation.
- Ability to lead a team and fluent in English.
- Understanding of kitchen budget management.
- Familiarity with Hazard Analisys and Critical Control Point (HACCP).
- High creativity in creating new menus and keeping up with the latest culinary trends.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks at the same time.
- Formal education in the culinary field is a plus.
- willing to be placed in Umalas, Bali.
