Security, Security Officer

This is a security role focused on monitoring and protecting staff, guests, and property within a retail or hospitality environment. You will be responsible for access control, loss prevention, emergency response, and maintaining a safe and secure premises through vigilant observation and professional conduct.

• Monitor entrance, exit, and general surroundings to ensure the safety of all staff, guests, and property
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, incidents, or safety hazards immediately to the Store or Operations Manager
• Greet guests professionally at the entrance and manage entry if crowd control is necessary
• Ensure unauthorized individuals do not access restricted or staff-only areas
• Prevent theft, vandalism, or misconduct within the premises
• Conduct routine checks during and after store hours to ensure inventory and assets are secure
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies such as fire, medical situations, or disputes
• Assist in evacuations or first-aid coordination if needed and follow BGS emergency procedures
• Assist in directing guests during busy hours or events and monitor vehicle and bike parking
• Maintain a logbook of security observations, incidents, or maintenance issues

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a security or safety-related role (hospitality or retail preferred)
• Physically fit and alert with strong attention to detail
• Calm, disciplined, and professional in appearance and behavior
• Basic communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; simple English is a plus
• Certification in basic security training or first aid is an advantage (Gada Pratama or Gada Madya)
