Senior Android Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Android Engineer who lives and breathes Kotlin — someone who thrives on clean architecture, scales mobile apps with confidence, and takes pride in crafting delightful, high-performance experiences.

You’ll play a key role in the next chapter of our Android platform — shaping core architecture, delivering high-impact features, and collaborating closely across backend, design, and QA teams.

• Lead the development of high-quality Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack libraries
• Help define and evolve our Android architecture — MVVM, Clean Architecture, modular codebases
• Integrate with a range of services — Firebase, payment gateways, and point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Optimise app performance, responsiveness, and crash resilience at scale
• Partner with backend, product, and design teams to build seamless, polished user experiences
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices
• Champion testing, CI/CD, and app quality in collaboration with QA engineers

• 5+ years of hands-on Android development experience
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, and scalable app architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Strong track record building, shipping, and maintaining apps at scale
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling network/data performance
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, Firebase, and the modern Android toolkit
• Ability to write clean, testable, maintainable code in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with POS systems, hospitality tech, or payment integrations
• Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) and cross-platform strategy
• Background in offline-first architecture and sync strategies
• Contributions to open-source or mobile dev communities
