You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications that meet the unique requirements of Sharia banking whilst ensuring the highest standards of security and user experience.

Design and develop mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms specifically tailored to Sharia banking requirements and finance compliance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards

Implement robust security measures and data protection protocols to ensure compliance with sharia finance regulations and banking standards

Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues before deployment

Optimise mobile applications for performance, scalability, and user experience across various devices

Integrate third‑party APIs and services relevant to sharia banking and payment processing

Document code, architecture, and development processes to maintain clarity for team collaboration

Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices

Stay updated with the latest mobile development trends, technologies, and Sharia finance compliance requirements

Proven experience as a Mobile Developer with a strong portfolio of iOS and/or Android applications

Proficiency in mobile development languages and frameworks such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective‑C, React Native, or Flutter

Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and development lifecycle

Experience with RESTful APIs and integration of backend services

Knowledge of mobile security best practices, encryption, and data protection mechanisms

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred:
Experience in financial technology (Fin Tech) or banking applications
