Logistics Manager

The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing all logistics operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods between Indonesia and Singapore. This role requires strong coordination skills, hands-on customer service experience, and the ability to resolve logistics-related issues promptly and plays a critical role in supporting business continuity, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

• Act as the primary liaison for logistics operations between Indonesia and the regional supply chain team in Singapore.
• Develop and maintain effective communication channels with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Plan and monitor shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport providers for smooth operations.

• Hands-on execution of customer service functions, including data entry.
• Respond to inquiries, concerns, and requests from customers.

• Identify inefficiencies in logistics processes and propose solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Implement best practices for inventory management, transportation, and distribution.
• Monitor KPIs such as delivery lead time, cost per shipment, and customer satisfaction scores.

• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations for shipping, customs clearance, and import/export procedures.
• Prepare and review documentation for customs, including invoices, packing lists, and ensure accurate HS code classification.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and communicate requirements to relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with commercial teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
• Provide regular reports on logistics performance, cost analysis, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate on demand forecasting and order fulfilment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations or similar roles.
• Strong background in customer service and complaint resolution.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs, import/export regulations, and shipping processes.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
