Overview

The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing all logistics operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods between Indonesia and Singapore. This role requires strong coordination skills, hands-on customer service experience, and the ability to resolve logistics-related issues promptly. It plays a critical role in supporting business continuity, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Logistics Coordination & Planning:
    Act as the primary liaison for logistics operations between Indonesia and the regional supply chain team in Singapore. Develop and maintain effective communication channels with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners. Plan and monitor shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport providers for smooth operations.
  • Customer Service Execution:
    Hands-on execution of customer service functions, including data entry. Respond to inquiries, concerns, and requests from customers.
  • Process Improvement & Cost Optimization:
    Identify inefficiencies in logistics processes and propose solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Implement best practices for inventory management, transportation, and distribution. Monitor KPIs such as delivery lead time, cost per shipment, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    Ensure compliance with local and international regulations for shipping, customs clearance, and import/export procedures. Prepare and review documentation for customs, including invoices and packing lists, and ensure accurate HS code classification. Stay updated on regulatory changes and communicate requirements to relevant stakeholders. Work closely with commercial teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives. Provide regular reports on logistics performance, cost analysis, and risk assessments.

    Collaborate on demand forecasting and order fulfilment.
Qualifications & Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations or similar roles.
  • Strong background in customer service and complaint resolution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs, import/export regulations, and shipping processes.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
