Air Cargo Manager

Qualifications

• Min. 10 years of experience in freight forwarding and managerial role
• Excellent communication and coordination skills in a global and multicultural environment.
• Experience with Cargowise as a Freight forwarding operation system is a plus point
• Business‑level English required

• Manage daily air cargo operations (import, export, and transit shipments)
• Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, warehouse teams, and customs authorities
• Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations and cargo handling standards (IATA & other local regulations)
• Monitor cargo schedules, capacity planning, and flight allocations
• Supervise cargo documentation (air waybills, manifests, customs paperwork)
• Oversee loading/unloading procedures and warehouse operations
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance
• Handle customer service issues and shipment irregularities
• Control operational costs and improve efficiency
• Ensure proper handling of special cargo (dangerous goods, perishables, live animals, high‑value cargo)
