About the role

PT GCM Hero Indonesia is seeking a Driver Operasional to join our growing logistics and transport operations team. This is a full‑time position based in South Tangerang, Banten. As a Driver Operasional, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials, playing a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain operations run smoothly. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliable and timely delivery services, and you will be a key member of our road transport fleet.

• Operating and maintaining commercial vehicles in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
• Transporting goods and materials to designated destinations on time and in good condition
• Conducting pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections to identify any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements
• Adhering to all traffic laws, road safety regulations and company driving policies
• Recording accurate mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and management regarding route updates, delays and delivery confirmations
• Loading and unloading cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any damage or defects immediately
• Building positive relationships with customers and ensuring professional conduct during interactions
• Assisting with basic vehicle maintenance and reporting requirements for scheduled servicing

• Valid heavy vehicle driving licence or equivalent qualification appropriate for the vehicle class you will be operating
• Minimum 2‑3 years of professional driving experience in logistics, transport or related industries
• Proven track record of safe driving with a clean driving record and no serious traffic violations
• Knowledge of road safety regulations, traffic laws and vehicle maintenance requirements
• Strong time management and organisational skills to meet delivery schedules
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and handle heavy items safely
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude towards work
• Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to identify vehicle problems
• Familiarity with navigation systems and route planning is advantageous
