We’re Hiring | Director / AVP – Medical Coding Operations (Indore)

We are looking for a seasoned senior leader in US Medical Coding Operations with mandatory HCC coding experience to lead large-scale, multi-client delivery with ownership of quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.

Role Overview

This is a strategic leadership position responsible for end-to-end medical coding operations across multiple accounts. The role involves driving operational excellence, managing executive client relationships, and leading large, geographically distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multi-account medical coding operations, with strong focus on HCC / Risk Adjustment coding

• Oversee coding across IP, OP, ED, E&M where applicable

• Own delivery metrics including productivity, quality, SLA/TAT, compliance, and cost

• Define and govern quality & compliance frameworks aligned with payer and regulatory standards

• Act as the senior escalation point for operational and client challenges

• Lead client governance calls, QBRs, and audit discussions

• Drive data-led decision-making through MIS, dashboards, and KPI reviews

• Build and mentor senior leadership teams; drive succession and capability development

• Champion process excellence, Lean/Six Sigma, automation, and transformation initiatives

Mandatory Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in US Medical Coding Operations

• Strong and proven HCC / Risk Adjustment coding experience (mandatory)

• 2+ years in a senior leadership role (Director / Associate Director / AVP / Head)

• Deep knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, payer guidelines

• Extensive exposure to client audits, compliance, and governance

• Experience managing large teams and multiple clients

• Medical coding certifications (CPC / CCS / CIC) preferred
