You will work as part of a distributed agile team leading the development of one of RWS's internal systems, which is integral to the operation of one of RWS divisions. Job Overview   

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable backend services using  Node.js  and  Expressjs.
Build and maintain  RESTful APIs  with strong security and performance.
Work with relational and No

SQL databases for efficient data modeling and query optimization.
Implement asynchronous processing, caching, and background jobs.
Ensure code quality through  unit/integration testing  and participate in code reviews.
Collaborate with frontend engineers and other stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in  Node.js ,  Express , and JavaScript/Type Script.
Solid understanding of  SQL  and  No

SQL  databases.

Experience with  authentication/authorization  (JWT, OAuth2).
Familiarity with  Redis , message queues, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of  Git , CI/CD, and testing frameworks (Jest/Mocha).
Exposure to  microservices architecture .
Knowledge of  API documentation  tools (Swagger/OpenAPI).
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
