About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Senior Teradata Developer to join our Data Management & Analytics team. The role focuses on development activities for enterprise-scale data platforms, working on complex data transformations, performance optimization, and analytics use cases. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Teradata and ETL technologies, with exposure to modern cloud data platforms being an added advantage.

Skills

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Teradata Development

- Experience with ETL / ELT tools (any ETL platform)
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning
- Experience working on large-scale data warehousing environments
- Strong understanding of data integration and transformation concepts

Good-to-Have Skills

- Exposure to Snowflake
- Experience working in hybrid or cloud-based data environments
- Knowledge of data analytics and reporting use cases

Job Description

- Design, develop, and maintain Teradata-based data solutions
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data transformations
- Work on ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and processing
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across systems
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements
- Support production issues and performance tuning activities
- Follow best practices for data development, documentation, and version control

Key Responsibilities

- Hands-on development using Teradata
- Implement and enhance ETL processes for enterprise data platforms
- Perform data analysis and troubleshooting for complex datasets
- Optimize queries and improve system performance
- Participate in design discussions and technical solutioning
- Ensure adherence to data governance and quality standards

Qualification & Certification

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Data Management & Analytics
- Strong experience working in enterprise data environments
