Supervise and support Area/Branch Collection Managers and Field Recovery Officers.
Ensure robust field collection processes and effective door-to-door recovery models are in place.
Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing regional collections team.
Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and capacity-building initiatives for collection staff.
Coordinate with regional business heads, credit and risk teams for account resolution planning.
Provide MIS/reports to senior management on NPA trends, recovery performance, and action plans
. Ensure all recovery practices adhere to internal policies, regulatory norms, and ethical standards.
Identify risk hotspots in the portfolio and escalate timely for preventive actions.
Preferred candidate profile
Minimum 8-10 years in microfinance or NBFC collections, with at least 3-4 years in a regional managerial role.
Strong understanding of MFI lending models (JLG/SHG), rural customer behavior, and legal recovery mechanisms.
