The Cruise Retail Academy is recruiting Luxury Client Advisors & Hosts for prestigious retail roles across world-class cruise fleets.
These positions sit at the heart of the onboard luxury experience — part host, part trusted advisor, blending charisma with genuine product expertise across fine jewellery, timepieces, and luxury brand categories.
This is not a traditional sales role.
It's designed for confident, charismatic professionals who own a room, build trust in minutes, and turn a guest's curiosity into a relationship — and a sale.
The Role
As a Luxury Client Advisor & Host, you will be the face and voice of onboard luxury retail — hosting events, building genuine guest relationships, and guiding clients toward pieces that mean something to them.
You will:
Host engaging seminars and exclusive events across fine jewellery, timepieces, and luxury collections
Engage guests throughout the voyage to identify interest and build qualified relationships
Build trust-led connections with VIP, Suite, and high-spending guests
Represent premium brands with authority, warmth, and genuine product knowledge
Introduce guests to specialist advisors and support the consultative selling journey
Collaborate closely with onboard leadership and the wider retail team
Track guest interactions and follow through on meaningful client relationships
Pursue ongoing product and brand education to stay credible and current
Use itinerary and destination knowledge to build rapport and enhance the guest journey
This is a high-visibility, relationship-led role — the majority of your time is spent hosting, connecting, and guiding guests toward purchases that feel personal, not pushed.
About You
You may come from luxury retail, fine jewellery, watches, high-end sales, or another premium, guest-facing environment.
You bring:
Experience in high-end sales across jewellery, timepieces, or luxury brands
A background in planning or hosting events, with the ability to entertain, educate, and tell a story
A consistent record of meeting and exceeding targets in a high-revenue, goal-driven environment
Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and client-qualification skills
Confidence and presence in front of large audiences
Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
A polished, professional presence and natural charisma
Relevant product or brand certifications are a strong advantage. Multiple languages are a bonus.
Cruise experience is a bonus, but not essential.
