The Warehouse Receiving Coordinator is directly responsible for essential pre-stage warehouse functions, including receiving, put away, and picking materials to stock job carts. This role actively assists and participates in meeting Receiving/Pre-Stage Team objectives, focusing on safety, quality, stockroom accuracy, housekeeping, and on-time shipments. Key duties include proper identification and storage of raw materials and dies, inventory accuracy, and cycle counting.
Pay Rate: $19/HR
Shift: 2nd Shift: Mon-Thursday 3;30 PM - 2:00 AM
Warehouse Receiving Coordinator Responsibilities:- Receiving & Verification:
Receive incoming raw materials and dies. Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Inspect and document any damaged goods. - Material Coordination:
Process and identify raw materials and dies. Coordinate re-tool and new die requests directly with the Purchasing Department. - Inventory Control:
Perform accurate inventory transactions and cycle counts. Store stock in assigned locations and assist in documenting Work in Progress (WIP) for end-of-month reporting. - Material Processing:
Operate the slitter/rewinder to slit and join materials, ensuring efficient press utilization - Issue Resolution:
Proactively identify issues causing potential shipment delays. Work
collaboratively with the Purchasing/Inventory Planning Manager and Production Manager to
eliminate bottlenecks. - Operational Excellence:
Maximize productivity and minimize material waste in every action performed - Safety & Upkeep:
Follow safe workplace practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse role. At least 1 year of experience.
- Ability to write clear, concise messages, logs, and reports.
- Basic computer literacy (data entry, inventory software)
- Forklift Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
