Intertek, a nationally recognized testing laboratory and leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is seeking an E&I Inspector to join our Technical Inspection Services team in Ingleside, TX. This role ensures that project quality plans are developed and implemented, promoting quality awareness throughout the organization and supporting continuous improvement.

• Review specifications, procedures and standards used on the construction site
• Perform electrical testing monitoring
• Inspect, witness or verify to establish the quality of materials, structures or systems
• Conduct factory acceptance tests of installations and equipment
• Monitor electrical systems of plant equipment before and during installation
• Organize and implement record‑retention systems

• Must be able to walk long distances
• Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
• Must be able to stand for extended durations
• Must be able to reach in all directions
• Must have good visual acuity with respect to color, depth perception and field vision
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold temperatures
• Must be alert and able to determine job‑related hazards and recognize when hazards change
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
• Must be able to work well in a team environment and communicate professionally with other team members
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record is required

• Industry‑standard certifications preferred
• 10+ years of inspection experience on‑site during construction in electrical inspection
