Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. The technician positions patients and equipment and produces an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
Qualifications- RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and must be maintained.
- Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program or hold current certification as identified in #1 and graduate within 90 days of hire.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
- Proficient computer skills.
Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and the current compensation range for this role is $39.96 to $49.28. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, taking into account skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
