Engineering Coordinator
As the Engineering Coordinator, you will assist in the oversight of all engineering tasks, maintenance responsibilities, and facility systems within SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park. You will coordinate the organization of the engineering maintenance shop, order materials, manage inventory, operate heavy equipment, and support engineering operations during events.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in ordering and organizing attic stock and maintenance materials.
- Track and consolidate utility usage reports.
- Coordinate daily operations and training for facility systems such as the Building Management System (BMS), lighting, venue management software, and radio communications software.
- Support the organization of the engineering maintenance shop.
- Coordinate engineering deliveries to the property.
- Maintain and expand tools/materials inventory log.
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and reach forklifts.
- Assist with standard operating procedures and training programs for internal departments and staff.
- Ensure compliance with all Hollywood Park and agency safety policies and administer safety requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service to the Hollywood Park community across all venues.
- Execute daily facility engineering tasks efficiently.
- Coordinate ordering of concession/merchandise repair parts.
- Document facility damages from daily operations or events.
- Support engineering department operations during events across the campus.
- Perform additional actions and activities as requested.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced degree or specialty certification preferred.
- Experience in facilities maintenance management.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in event-related project sites preferred.
- Experience with project management software preferred.
- Strong project management and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints.
- Ability to use data and analytics to enhance efficiency.
- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat, stretch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Lifting: up to 50 pounds
Climbing/Balancing: prolonged steps or stair climbing
Walking: well‑paced mobility for up to six hours
Stoop/Bend: occasional
Stand/Sit: prolonged standing/sitting
Reach: occasional overhead and horizontal
Speaking: proficiency in English
Indoor air‑conditioned, outdoor exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, rain, sleet, wind, high noise and vibration. Non‑hazardous environment.
Compensation$22.00 – $25.00 per hour
