The Travel Nurse RN in Telemetry is responsible for delivering safe patient care in an acute care hospital setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. This per diem position requires a current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications, with at least one year of experience in an Acute Care hospital, particularly in a Med / Surg / Telemetry unit.

The nurse will guide patient and family teaching while supervising other nursing personnel and will need to be adaptable to changes in patient conditions.

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Min. 1 year previous Acute Care hospital experience
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Must be able to float to medsurg / tele
• The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient / family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med / Surg / Telemetry Unit.
• The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his / her assigned patients.

• Current state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate
• Current ACLS certificate
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience

• Per Diem
• Night shift

• Experience in Med / Surg / Telemetry Unit preferred.
• Must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and / or response to treatment.

• Valid for 2 years.
• Covered in WAMC orientation packet when they come into facility under Essentials.
