About Hollywood ParkHollywood Park, a near 300‑acre sports and entertainment destination, is being developed by Los Angeles Rams owner/Chairman
E. Stanley Kroenke with the 70,000‑seat SoFi Stadium as its centerpiece. When complete, Hollywood Park will have up to 2,500 residences, a hotel, a retail district reaching up to 890,000 square feet, up to 5 million square feet of office space, and more than 25‑acres of public parks and open space. As the Grounds Crew Lead, You Will…The Grounds Crew Lead is responsible for assisting with maintenance of the stadium’s artificial playing surface, including preparation for sporting and entertainment events. The role covers installation, deployment, and removal of the field turf protection system, execution of field activities, cleaning/disinfection of the artificial surface, and lining, marking, striping, and painting of the competition field. The position is active 24 h/day, 7 days/week, supporting an estimated 250+ events annually.

- Execution of athletic field maintenance workload designed to maintain condition and appearance of athletic turf surface in world‑class condition.
- Preparation of artificial turf surface for competition and events, including lining, marking, striping, and painting for event needs, with multiple colors and designs.
- Utilization of specialty turf‑related machinery and tools safely to achieve desired scope of work.
- Execution of routine and preventative maintenance on artificial turf surface, as directed by stadium full‑time grounds staff.
- Installation, adjustment, and removal of turf protection as it relates to the playing surface.
- Performance of other duties as assigned and required.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in Turf Grass Managementorticulture/Turf Grass Sciences or related field.
- Strong work ethic with emphasis on proactivity and interdependence, ability to work alone and in a small team.
- Understanding of artificial turf maintenance and artificial turf painting and removal.
- Ability to maintain an ongoing list by priority of projects and tasks, to assume timely and effective solutions to unanticipated client‑focused issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and safely under deadlines, pressure, and time constraints.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Flexible schedule; able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be able to exert well‑paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences and situations; written communications to be concise, well organized, complete and clear.
Employees must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
