Associate Accountant Financial Services

Hybrid Associate Accountant work at CGL calls for reconciliations and month-end reporting across Federated and Unified Market accounts. English is required.

This temporary full-time, 12-month position supports Federated Accounting within CGL. You will prepare entries, process receivables and payables, reconcile accounts, and support reporting. The work also includes Direct Bill Commission for Wealth Management, billings, and partner inquiries.

• Prepare monthly general ledger entries
• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Prepare reconciliations and investigate reconciling items
• Support statutory, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Prepare billings to brokers and insurers

• Accounting or Business post-secondary graduation
• Minimum one year accounting or business experience
• CPA Certification Program enrollment is an asset
• Insurance or reinsurance knowledge is preferred
• English required;
  French is an asset
